Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation Recognized Northwestern Mutual for its Support of Childhood Cancer Research

In 2016, Northwestern Mutual-LA raised over $6k during Race for Research, June 1- July 22, to donate to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and helped support over 120 hours of research. This cause is important to us – we don’t want any more children to have to fight this disease. We’re proud to join our Northwestern Mutual colleagues from across the country to raise funds to help children with cancer. Every day, 720 kids are diagnosed with cancer. Together we can provide help for today and hope for tomorrow to the children and families fighting this disease.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that we say thank you to Northwestern Mutual for raising critical funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Together, Northwestern Mutual offices raised more than$515,000 through its Race for Research. These dollars will support 10,300 hours of childhood cancer research. Thank you Northwestern Mutual for joining us in the fight. You are making a difference!
